The purpose of the Spam Database and DNSBL Blacklist Check is to check if any spam or phishing emails are in any email databases. These include the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC checks. In addition, it can also check for any messages sent from a domain on the DNSBL blacklist. This can be done by querying your DNSBL server directly or checking the mail server that sends out your mail. This check may be needed for those sending out large volumes of email, especially from a shared or corporate account. It can also be useful for those running an email campaign from a third-party provider. Be sure to test this before you send bulk emails to determine if it is required for your situation.
